Located at the entry to the Mystic tourist area, development of this site presented several unique challenges. The project required the preservation and relocation of the historic Whitehall Mansion to accommodate a modern 128-room hotel. As part of the design and permitting services, DiCesare-Bentley Engineers, Inc. resolved issues relating to integration of the site with an adjacent hotel complex, zoning restrictions, wetlands protection, sewer use restrictions and site access.
