This project is located in the downtown area of Groton and is one of the largest apartment developments in the immediate area with nearly 300 units located on approximately 35 acres of land. As prime consultant to the owner, DiCesare-Bentley Engineers, Inc. performed concept design, surveying, site design, permitting and construction services. The project design was coordinated with the design and permitting of an adjacent residential project and a new town collector street for which DiCesare-Bentley Engineers, Inc. was also prime consultant. The project served as a catalyst for significant new development within the immediate area. The location within the Long Hill Drainage District and size of this complex warranted special consideration for access, site design and stormwater management. |
