DiCesare-Bentley Engineers, Inc. was retained to perform land surveying, sewage system design, structural design, permitting and construction layout services for a new 5,500 square-foot, LEED®-eligible home on a prominent Mason’s Island lot in Mystic, CT.
DiCesare-Bentley worked closely with the project architect to orient the house in a manner that would take advantage of the site’s unique marshland views while providing optimal solar access to meet certain LEED® certification eligibility requirements.
This project has been recognized as one of the first LEED®-eligible homes in Southeastern Connecticut.
