KAC Realty LLC and Carlin Construction received zoning approval on July 15, 2008 from the Stonington Planning and Zoning Commission for the relocation and renovation of an existing historic structure and the construction of a new free-standing structure at 17-19 East Main Street in Mystic, CT.
The existing historic building will be moved and rotated to accommodate the new structure, then renovated to include a deli on the street level and an apartment unit on the second level. The new 10,600 sq. ft. structure will house eight apartment units with street-level garage parking. All site work will be coordinated with the Mystic Streetscape Project to ensure consistent use of design elements and materials.
DiCesare-Bentley Engineers, Inc. worked with the owner (KAC Realty LLC) and general contractor (Carlin Construction) to provide concept planning, land surveying, site design and permitting services. .
