The Montville, CT Planning and Zoning Commission approved the development plan for Joyal Commons. According the Harold Clarke, DiCesare-Bentley Engineers Project Manager, the Joyal Commons development plan includes a 176 room hotel, a freestanding restaurant with drive through window service, a 5,000 sq. ft. retail/office building and parking for over 280 vehicles. The mixed-use project is located at the intersection of Routes 32 & 2A in the Uncasville section of Montville, CT. The hotel will be developed by StoneStreet Corporation of Providence, RI.  The restaurant and mixed-use building will be developed by JJMA Realty LLC of Groton, CT. An application is currently pending before the State Traffic Commission;
construction is expected begin shortly after action by that agency.  In addition to initial concept planning, the firm provided all surveying, site design, permitting and traffic engineering services for the project.
