JJMA Realty LLC has received wetlands and site plan approval to convert a 4,000 sq. ft. former branch bank building at the intersection of Routes 117 &184 in Groton into a Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant and a retail store.  The project will involve the renovation of the building to include a relocated drive through facility and related improvements to the site and building. DB Engineers provided surveying, civil design and permitting services for the project. The site is located in the Water Resource Protection District and abuts residential properties. Therefore, considerable attention was paid to incorporating design elements that would address these items including enhanced landscaping, subdued lighting and upgraded storm water management devices.
