Peter Hanson, PE, LEED AP, Manager of the Structural Engineering Dept. at DiCesare – Bentley Engineers, Inc., was reelected Chairman of the Town of Cromwell Planning and Zoning Commission in January 2008. This is Mr. Hanson’s fourth term as Chairman. His goal is to incorporate sustainable design concepts within regulations for the Town of Cromwell, making the town one of the first in the state to do so.

Mr. Hanson has served as project engineer on a wide variety of project assignments utilizing steel, concrete, masonry and wood for municipal, commercial, industrial and residential structures. He also has extensive experience with the investigation, evaluation and rehabilitation of existing structures with strength and serviceability problems or adaptive re-use requirements. Mr. Hanson is currently a licensed Professional Engineer in CT, RI and PA.
