This year's winners of the DiCesare-Bentley / William Bentley Memorial Scholarship were honored today at Scholarship Award Breakfast at DiCesare-Bentley Engineers, Inc.'s Groton Office. These bright young engineering students were given the opportunity to speak with industry professionals about where their future careers may take them.

Company Principals Michael Scanlon and Clinton Brown discussed the difficulties they have encountered while attempting to find well qualified engineers in the region. They expressed the importance of scholarship programs and organizations like the Community Foundation of Southeastern Connecticut to help stimulate student interest in fields of study such as engineering.
